At Camp Wannacombac, our mission is to provide a Christ-centered camp experience where American Heritage Girls grow in faith, build lifelong friendships, discover new skills, and develop confidence through outdoor adventure, meaningful experiences, and servant-hearted community. We strive to create a place where every girl is known, encouraged, challenged, and inspired to love God, love others, and carry the spirit of camp into every season of life. Camp Wannacombac is a second home that girls “wannacombac” to!

Camp Wannacombac is for American Heritage Girls who are Rising 2nd Year Explorers and up!
Girl Tuition: $350 Adult Tuition: $150 A 50% deposit is due no later than March 31st and will secure your spot. Camp balance is due by May 18th. No Refunds will be give after June 1st unless camp is cancelled! |
Camper Packets are emailed on June 1st!
Early Registration will open on January 16th for Daughters of Leaders who are coming to Camp Wannacombac to serve!

American Heritage Girls
|
Camp Wannacombac is a week-long residential camp for rising second and third year Explorers and PiPas! Set in a beautiful, rustic (non-air conditioned) camp facility in central-east Georgia, Camp Wannacombac is the longest running camp in the Eastern US. Each summer we offer swimming, canoeing, archery, and outdoor skills training as well as many other badge earning opportunities.
However, the main focus at Camp Wannacombac is not the completion of badges. Although we love our badge workshops, our focus is on relationships! Relationships with God, friends. both old and new, and with the adults that we are privileged to serve alongside. We give our girls a place to reach out and connect with girls from all over, and lifelong friendships are built!
These friendships are what bring our girls back to Camp Wannacombac year after year after year! It's not our food (although it is truly fabulous), it's not our badge workshops (although they rock), it isn't even the evening activities (although no one lip syncs better than our girls, or jousts, spits seeds, relays, throws shaving cream, or throws boots better), it most definitely is not the HEAT (although you do adjust), BUT, it is the bonds of friendships that we grow and nurture every summer while doing all these crazy and fun activities!
We would love to have your girls come and join us as we hang out on our cabin porches in the late evening braiding each other's hair, or as we stand in line singing camp songs and chants as we wait our turn to enter the dining hall. It is these things that make Camp Wannacombac so special. It is these things that we want to share with your daughter and you! It is these things that help us to bring glory to our Father, as we love one another.
